The Solution

Streamlining onboarding with customized DocuSign workflows

To address these challenges, Kingsbridge Wealth Management partnered with Solusign to overhaul their onboarding process using Docusign. The first step was to map out the ideal investor onboarding workflow. Solusign worked closely with Kingsbridge to design a process that minimized manual tasks and ensured compliance.

Next, Solusign created an investor questionnaire. This questionnaire was integrated into Kingsbridge’s website and was designed to guide investors through the onboarding process step-by-step. It was built within the Docusign environment, making it easy for investors to navigate.
Solusign then automated the document collection process. The system prompted investors to upload the necessary ID and certification documents. Once uploaded, the system automatically redirected them to the appropriate Docusign signing workflow.

Finally, Solusign developed 14 customized Docusign signing workflows. These workflows were tailored to ensure the accuracy of the documents, whether the investor completed the forms themselves or a third party did so on their behalf. Each workflow determined who the signers were and which document sections applied to them, making the process seamless and error-free.


The Results

Faster, error-free onboarding with minimal manual intervention

The implementation of Solusign's Docusign-based solution brought significant improvements to the onboarding process. The entire onboarding workflow, which previously took weeks, can now be completed in just minutes. This drastic reduction in time was achieved with minimal effort required from the operations team.

Error rates have dropped to zero, thanks to the automated and customized signing workflows. Investors now receive error-free documents, eliminating the need for manual corrections.

The process has also become fully self-service. Investors can complete their onboarding independently without needing to interact with the Kingsbridge team. This has not only streamlined the process but also enhanced the overall investor experience.

Additionally, document management has been automated. All completed documents are now automatically synced and stored in investor folders within Docusign, removing the tedious task of manual filing. These improvements have led to a more efficient and seamless onboarding process, greatly benefiting both the Kingsbridge team and their investors.
